Message from NHSE: 50-64 year olds shouldn't be receiving flu vaccination until Nov
There is some anecdotal evidence that 50-64 year olds are trying to book in for flu vaccines and so the national flu comms lead has prepared some copy that GPs can use on websites that makes it clear that 50-64 year olds will not be vaccinated until Nov at the earliest, and only then if there is vaccine available
Update on the availability of vaccines for the 2020/21 children’s flu programme supplied by PHE
PHE can now confirm that they plan to open ordering for Fluenz® Tetra (LAIV) to all NHS providers of the 2020/21 children’s flu programme on Friday 28 August, with first deliveries made from Wednesday 2 September.

Roll out of Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) Phase 4

COVID-19 support fund for general practice
Government funding has been made available for practices to submit claims in relation to legitimate additional costs borne by GP practices, as part of their response to covid. Practices will be informed about local processes for claiming shortly.
