The Carbon Reduction Community Grants Programme is open to any Community Group, Community Interest Company and Charity in Tower Hamlets. The grants help support carbon reductions through building retrofit projects or community engagement activities.

Barts Health NHS Trust, in collaboration with NEL CCG and primary care stakeholders, have been piloting using the advice and guidance (A&G) portal on eRS as a single point of access for all advice and referrals in a new process known as advice & referral (A&R).
Update on Imaging Services at Barts Health NHS Trust, February 2022
We would like to remind GP colleagues that patients must present to a Barts Health hospital within three weeks of their X-ray referral. Existing referrals between three weeks and six months old will continue to be honoured, however requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by our clinical teams to ensure an X-ray is still required and clinically valid.
Newham - All Phlebotomy should now be booked on Swiftqueue
From 7 February 2022, ELFT Phlebotomy service will no longer be offering any walk in slots. Urgent blood appointments will still be available across the day for those whose immediate management plan relies on a prompt blood test. Urgent requests will be honoured where a patient attends and their blood form shows that it was printed off as an urgent blood request.
NELFT Free Text messaging service for GPs - Talking Therapies
North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) Talking Therapies would like to use SMS text messages to signpost patients registered at practices across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest to IAPT services, as well as provide them with information/guidance on mental health.

Tower Hamlets Foot Health Service
The department consists of a small team based at Mile End Hospital, Bethnal Green Health Centre and Newby Place and provides high risk specialised podiatric interventions. We can help with a range of conditions which affect foot health such as Diabetics with foot complications, circulatory conditions or congenital deformity. The service treats those with high risk conditions which affect the foot.
