Booster vaccines to be offered to young people aged 16 to 17 and 12 to 15
Following updated JCVI Guidance, the NHS is now offering boosters to all 16 and 17 year olds, and 12 to 15 year olds who are in a clinical risk group, are severely immunosuppressed or who are a household contact of someone who is.
Alternative hexavalent vaccine in the NHS national vaccination programme
From 31 January 2022 there will be a new vaccine available, Vaxelis® as an alternative to Infanrix hexa® (DTap/IPV/Hib/HepB). There will be no change to the ordering process.
