Mind Havering are taking referrals for their Ready For Adulthood six week face-to-face programme which starts on Friday 10 June. The eligibility criteria is being a Havering resident, aged 17-25 with mild-medium symptoms and low risk.

Suicide first aid lite (4 hours) - Feb - July
This half day course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts.
Havering Learning disability weight management
The programme is a 12 week face to face programme for individuals with mild to moderate learning disabilities with a BMI between 25 and 40, family members will be encouraged to attend the programme alongside the individual to support them.

The Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS) are due to replace the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. The date of implementation is not currently known. This forms part of the revised Mental Capacity Act 2005.
