BHR - Improved referral pathway to community ENT
In order to improve the referral pathway for referring GPs and patients, the BHR Community ENT Service are transitioning the Triage service on e_RS from the current "Telephone/Video assessment service" (TAS) to a "referral assessment service" (RAS).
Changes to ENT referral pathways and accessing advice and guidance in TNW from 9 August
From 9 August 2021 the TNW Community ENT Service, delivered by Communitas Clinics, will open for new referrals. The new service will be available on e-RS to all TNW practices: TNW ENT Triage Service - Children 5 years+ and adults.

Direct Access Adult Hearing Service Update (C&H)
Following new guidance from NHS England, the Direct Access Adult Hearing Service is suspending all face-to-face appointments. Please hold all referrals to the service.
Community ENT (C&H)
The Community ENT is no longer seeing patient face-to-face. Patients on the service caseload and their patients will be contacted about arrangements. The service will be offering some remote support- further details on this will follow in the near future.

Your trust will have an incident management team in place and plans on what activity continues in light of pressures on services and staffing. Please consult your local management team.
