Your practice will have been invited to register with iPlato so that your patients can be messaged about IAPT; if you have registered you do not need to take any action.
Mind Havering - Ready for adulthood
Mind Havering are taking referrals for their Ready For Adulthood six week face-to-face programme which starts on Friday 10 June. The eligibility criteria is being a Havering resident, aged 17-25 with mild-medium symptoms and low risk.
Joint BHR/NELFT Mental Health tertiary funding panel referral process
Refer all mild to moderate anxiety and depression cases to NELFT IAPT service pathway and refer all medium to high complex cases to NELFT access service pathway.

Havering Mind Parent Support Group 6-week programme - May - June
In the Parent Support Group they will provide advice, reassurance, tips/techniques on topics such as communication, self-care, increased resilience and coping mechanisms. Attendees may share their thoughts/feelings, without any pressure or judgement, and will meet other parents that are going through similar challenges.

BHR Mental Health update
This update includes SMI physical health checks, advice and guidance and community mental health transformation.
Havering Learning disability weight management
The programme is a 12 week face to face programme for individuals with mild to moderate learning disabilities with a BMI between 25 and 40, family members will be encouraged to attend the programme alongside the individual to support them.
Please note this upcoming change from DOLs to LPS
The Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS) are due to replace the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. The date of implementation is not currently known. This forms part of the revised Mental Capacity Act 2005.

North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) Talking Therapies would like to use SMS text messages to signpost patients registered at practices across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest to IAPT services, as well as provide them with information/guidance on mental health.
