NHS England are writing an updated delivery plan for how we deliver maternity and neonatal services. They are seeking views by 27 November of staff, service users and stakeholders to help inform this new plan.

NEL is the first CCG in London to officially launch the new neonatal programme as part of the Local Maternity System. The Local Maternity and Neonatal System will ensure neonatal services are integrated into maternity planning.
Local version of Baby Buddy app now available in north east London
Pregnant people who are booked to give birth in NEL can get additional details about their maternity unit, including; specialist maternity services offered, maternity helpline and antenatal and postnatal clinic phone numbers, visitor and parking information for birth partners and links to their local Maternity Voices Partnership.
BHRUT - Self-referral form online for maternity patients
BHRUT has noticed that some GP practices are giving out the direct telephone number for their Maternity team to patients to book Antenatal Care rather than advising women to self-refer via the form on the website.
