Want to learn more about how to refer your patients into the Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS)?
This new nationally commissioned service offers benefits for both your patients and how you manage your practice workload.
NEL CCG are hosting a webinar for all General Practice staff in north east London on Thursday 22 July from 6.30 to 7.45pm. You can join the webinar here.
The webinar will contain information for both general practice administration staff who have first contact with patients and clinical staff to understand the clinical service provided by community pharmacists.
The webinar will explain more about the CPCS. It will include information on how to request in-practice training to set up the referral process for your patients.
We will also hear about the experience in Avon, one of the original pilot sites and have an opportunity to ask questions.
The NHS CPCS is a community pharmacist-led clinical service which has been managing referrals from NHS 111 since 2019. Since November 2020, GP practices can also refer patients with minor illness symptoms for a same-day consultation with a community pharmacist, using the referral pathway to the CPCS.
