As the number of people with symptoms of COVID-19 continues to increase there is a concomitant increased demand on health services to care for these individuals both in primary, community and secondary care settings.
The attached pack has been updated to reflect recently released national guidelines and supersedes the document released on 8 June 2020.
The purpose of the document is to provide guidance to assist staff from primary care and the community with the organisation of services during COVID-19, advice on triage and pathways for monitoring and signposting patients, as well as suggesting treatment and palliative care.
The guideline is not designed to be prescriptive but to provide a useful aid to use alongside clinical judgement.
