In August 2020, national guidance was issued for practices to claim for reimbursements for covid related expenses through the national Covid-19 Support Fund. This excluded PPE.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has now published guidance on the claims process for PPE. The full guidance can be found here
We will be writing to all practices to explain the local process and invite them to submit claims early next week. The national deadline for submission of claims is 5 February, so practices should start to collate information on PPE claims as soon as possible so they are ready for this.
