North East London Training Hubs (CEPNs) are delighted to invite all local health and care colleagues to this virtual session on unconscious bias. Behavioural and data scientist Dr Pragya Agarwal will present this informative and actionable masterclass that will demystify the meaning of different unconscious biases and supply you with the tools to unlearn yours.
A choice of 3 dates are being offered. You will also have the opportunity to attend a smaller interactive facilitated workshops on the subject including looking at case studies and role play. These sessions will be held in February and March 2021
About Dr Pragya Agarwal
Pragya Agarwal is a behavioural and data scientist and author of 'Sway: Unravelling Unconscious Bias' which was Guardian Book of the Week and 'Wish We Knew What To Say: Talking with children about race' both published in 2020. Pragya is a two-time TEDx speaker and has given keynotes and talks for schools, universities, charities and has worked as an anti-racism and inclusivity consultant with global corporate, governmental and research organisations. Pragya has appeared on many international podcasts and shows such as NPR, BBC Woman's Hour, BBC Radio 4 'The Spark'. She has organised a TEDx Women event and more recently an online South Asian Literary Festival, and has a podcast mini-series Outside the Boxes, and another Wish We Knew What To Say to accompany her book of the same name. In 2018, she was the winner of the Diverse Wisdom Writing award from Hay House Publishing, and was named as one of the 100 influential women in social enterprise in the UK, and one of 50 people creating change in the UK-India corridor.
