A new Memory Café has opened from 19 May 10.30am -12pm (every other Thursday) in the Learning Space at the Queen's Theatre Hornchurch.

A safe and supportive space will be provided to discuss the patient's own dementia diagnosis, or someone else’s and to think about what it means for the future; meet and learn from other people in similar situations; keep active, make new friends and feel more confident.

Sessions are free and open to everyone, no pre-booking required.

The Queen’s Theatre are also looking for a small number of volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the Café, including regularly attending sessions, welcoming attendees, leading short activities/games, having a chat and providing a friendly face.
