As part of CEG’s programme to improve childhood immunisation rates in London and following the launch of the CEG in-practice call/recall tool in January, CEG have taken user feedback on board and are preparing to launch version 2 in North East London.
As well as improving uptake of all routine pre-school immunisations, the updated tool will help primary care protect more children against polio – with one click, a practice can list all their patients under 6 years old who are not fully protected.
They have made the updated tool available via their website and will contact each practice by email with a link to the request form and an offer of 1:1 support from facilitators.
APL-Imms Version 2 includes new features that were suggested by its users:
- Filters to view newly registered children or those with previous declines;
- One-click button to export for Accurx, to send appointment messages with ease;
- Patient telephone numbers visible within the tool.
Here’s more detail on what’s changed (opens PDF via the CEG website).
Version 2 is only compatible with EMIS. CEG are still working on a SystmOne version of the tool and expect to launch it later in 2022.
