It has been a tough year for our NHS and health and social care colleagues. We have all worked under extreme pressure to protect our patients, colleagues and families. If you feel exhausted, stressed or struggling to cope, you are not alone, and help is available.
The KeepingWellNEL hub can help support your wellbeing, resilience and mental health. The hub has a confidential listening service and is delivered conveniently via live chat (call or video) and text feature via 07723484839.
This can be accessed through any digital device to provide support on the go for our staff across north east London. It also provides signposting and fast-tracked referral where requested, to other support services. The service is open 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, including Bank Holidays.

If you are struggling to cope due to Covid-19 pressures, it’s important to seek help early, so that we can support you with any issues before they escalate and impact your professional and personal life further. You can refer yourself, or a colleague (with their consent) who is struggling. Our qualified team of NHS wellbeing and mental health professionals can offer help and support including if you have experienced stressful or traumatic events associated with or triggered by Covid-19.
We encourage all line managers to look out for signs and symptoms that their colleagues may benefit from emotional or mental health support – and to promote the offer of the KeepingWellNEL hub within their teams.
We need to look after our mental health and wellbeing to be able to look after our patients – don’t hesitate to get in contact, we can help you.
