Two Newham practices - Cumberland Medical Centre and Glen Road Medical Centre will be merging as of 1 October 2022.

This is an exciting development between both practices as the new partnership will enable an increased resource of skills and experience, providing patients with access to enhanced services whilst offering flexibility, ensuring stability and overall improving access to primary care services.

There will be minimum disruption to patients registered at both practices, as they will continue to consult with their current doctor as usual throughout this change, from their existing GP practice. The new partnership will deliver the same standard of quality and personal care.

Both practices are very enthusiastic about this new partnership and over the coming weeks, we will be working closely to integrate systems and combine processes. Our main priority is to ensure a seamless transition with minimum disruption to patients.

All patients have been written to and have been invited to join one of four patient engagement events taking place in September where they can get more information about the merger or ask questions.
