The following information is being sent on behalf of the British Society for Immunology.
The Society are reaching out to let practices know of a translation project they’ve been working on with the Contemporary Hasidic Yiddish research team at UCL.
“At the British Society for Immunology we aim to provide reliable, evidence-based information on vaccines and immunology to help everyone make informed decisions about vaccines and their health. To be more accessible to diverse communities, we have translated some of our resources into Yiddish, which explain different aspects of how vaccines work, how they protect against disease and the ingredients found in vaccines, as well as how testing for COVID-19 works. You can find these informative infographics online here:www.immunology.org/vaccines/yiddish.
We’d be very grateful if you could please share these resources with your networks in the Orthodox Jewish community in London. We’re also working on a printed version and if anyone is interested in copies please do let me know and I can post them direct”.
If this information would be helpful to your practice community, if you are interested in distributing printed copies or if you have any queries please contact Erika Aquino at the society directly E.Aquino@immunology.org
