Opening times: Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm 

 Currently the waiting time for an appointment is around one week – please advise patients to book in advance. For infected, leaking or opening wounds outside of Hurley Group hours (above), patients can go to their local Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) or call 111. 

Complex wound care:

North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) provide a Tissue Viability Service across BHR. This service Is run by specialist nurses and provides support and guidance for those with complex or non-healing wounds and can be referred to via their website.


Barking and Dagenham:


Havering and Redbridge have commissioned leg ulcer service for those with leg ulceration who are mobile and able to attend clinic. Redbridge services fall under the remit of the Tissue Viability Service and Havering services fall under the district nursing service. If patients in Barking and Dagenham require specialist leg ulcer support, they can be referred via the Tissue Viability service as above.

If a patient is housebound, a referral to the community nursing team would be indicated for support with wound care in the home. This is the case for all boroughs.

Should patients require additional support with complex non-healing wounds or Lymphoedema, any medical professional is able to refer to Accelerate CIC, Wound and Lymphoedema service. This can be done via the website: Accelerate are unable to make home visits to patients but are often able to arrange transport for patients with an identified need to help them visit the clinic.
