Due to reduced capacity within Barts Health, the local e-Referral Service Advice & Guidance (e-RS A&G) escalation process for requests not responded to within 5 working days, is being temporarily stood down. Please do not escalate any unanswered A&G requests to the WEL CCGs e-RS mailbox until further notice.
For any routine requests already in the e-RS A&G system, you are advised to monitor your work lists as consultants are currently working their way through outstanding requests.
A&G is now also available for urgent cases, in order to relieve pressure on outpatients at this time and support primary care to manage patients without referral to hospital. If you do not receive a response to an urgent A&G request within 5 working days, please escalate directly with Barts Health by telephoning the switchboard for the relevant site and requesting to speak directly to the specialty.
If you have any general queries about e-RS, these can continue to be raised via wfccg.thccg.newccg.e-rsqueries@nhs.net.
